MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) The Vermont Attorney General’s office has launched a new website to help provide people with information about the opioid crisis in the state. The website provides an interactive map where Vermonters can locate treatment, prevention, and intervention options. It also provides basic information about opioids, updates about the investigation into drug manufacturers’ sales and marketing practices, and information about the work of the Community Justice Unit of the attorney general’s office. Attorney General T.J. Donovan says helping Vermonters through the opioid epidemic is a top priority for his office. In the last five years 455 Vermonters died from opioid-related overdoses.
