Well that result didn’t exactly go to script! After looking rather comfortable throughout the game, Scunthorpe United threw away a two goal lead to draw 3-3 with Rochdale. The Iron took the lead when Lee Novak nodded home from close-range from Josh Morris’ beautifully drifted in free-kick. Fifteen minutes later, they made it two when Ryan Colclough scored his first goal in claret and blue, when he finished off a brilliant solo run. Rochdale pulled when back when Ollie Rathbone snuck in to score at the near post, but Scunthorpe responded brilliant, with Charlie Goode nodding home a third goal. The visitors then piled on the pressure in the second-half, with Rathbone adding a second and Matty Gillam grabbing an equaliser late on to snatch a point.
