Police are continuing to question a Medway man arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences. The 26-year-old, named locally as Lewis Ludlow, was detained on April 18 at his home in Rochester. His arrest was part of an operation by Counter Terrorism Police. The suspect has been accused of being involved in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism. Westminster Magistrates’ Court earlier authorised his detention until tomorrow, but due to “ongoing enquires” this has now been extended to April 30.
