Mane lit up the Allianz Arena with his match-winning double against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night. It was his moment of individual brilliance which swung the last 16 tie the Reds' way after a scrappy opening quarter of the second leg. There was the instant … [Read more...] about Mane’s penny drops to end Klopp’s one criticism of Reds star

DRIVING THE DAY OUT TO BAT: Theresa May faces her first grilling from *actual voters* on her Brexit deal this morning, as No. 10’s frantic PR blitz continues. The prime minister will take questions from callers live on LBC Radio at 8 a.m., and you can be certain quite a few will be angry Brexiteers. The Brazil international is likely to finally make his first start for his new club on Wednesday at home to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, following his big-money summer move from Monaco. Yet Klopp has urged patience for fans worrying about the absence of a player who didn't even make the subs' bench for three of their seven games so far this season. He said: “It’s not really difficult. It’s just because it is so quick and so intense. It needs to be natural. “To improve something, you need half a year to make the next step. That’s it.
