Police arrest, charge West Valley City man in connection with Ogden bank robbery
OGDEN — A West Valley City man was charged in connection with a bank robbery that took place Thursday in Ogden. Sean Thomas Moore, 42, was booked into jail Thursday on charges of robbery, a second-degree felony; failure to respond to officers, a third-degree felony; and theft by receiving stolen property, a second-degree felony. Moore allegedly went into the KeyBank located at 3565 Harrison Blvd. in Ogden around 1:30 p.m. Thursday and demanded money from the teller, according to a probable cause statement. Police say Moore was given an undisclosed amount of money and drove away in a silver car. Police later located the car and tried to pull over the driver. The car then sped up and lead officers on a pursuit, according to charging documents. Officers eventually were able to stop the driver — whom they say is Moore — and took him into custody.
