From February 9-11 the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston, was home to the Boston Globe Travel Show hosting over 30,000 visitors and 400 exhibitors showcasing the latest destinations updates, tours, accommodation and travel technologies. Saint Lucia’s contingent consisted of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA), local hotel partners, and travel agency representatives. Now, the husband and wife power duo are paying it forward with the announcement that over $1 million will be awarded to 11 worthy students in the U.S. stops including the remaining West Coast cities of Los Angeles (at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl, Sept. 22-23), San Diego (Sept. 27), Santa Clara (Sept. 29) and Seattle (Oct. 4). Winning young academics will be chosen by a local Boys and Girls Club of America for The Bey Good Initiative and The Shawn Carter Foundation. He and a growing group of other Harley riders from the West Coast were in Butte, Montana, an overnight stop on their way to Milwaukee for Harley’s 115th anniversary party that gets underway Aug. 29. Under the awning, Andersen's tent and his 2018 Harley Sportster wouldn’t get wet if it rained. And he was surrounded by bikes and people he’d just met on the trip. “I feel like I am traveling with guys I’ve known for 20 years,” said Andersen, of Portland, Oregon. The Sportster Iron 1200 he's riding is his first Harley.
