Pokemon Go has launched a new week-long event to celebrate April Fools' Day, and it features a brand new Pokemon. Earlier this morning, Pokemon Go launched a new event featuring increased spawns of certain "Tricky" Pokemon. These Pokemon, which include Gastly, Haunter, Voltorb, Sudowoodo, Aipom, Croagunk, and Foongus, are all known for their deceptive appearances and tendencies to play tricks. Ditto will also appear more often during the event, including in forms that it hasn't appeared in before. The event also serves to introduce Stunfisk, a strange fan-favorite Pokemon. Stunfisk will appear as a Field Research reward and will hatch from 5 KM eggs for the duration of the event. … [Read more...] about Pokemon Go Celebrates April Fools’ Day With New Pokemon

Gattis has one of the more interesting stories out there. He was a well-regarded college baseball prospect, but he battled anxiety and substance abuse. He checked into rehab and, temporarily, abandoned his baseball-related pursuits. Gattis eventually resumed playing college baseball but suffered an injury, prompting him to drop out of college. He went on to take on some not-so-glamorous jobs, including working in a pizza shop, as a parking valet, a ski-lift operator, and a janitor. Gattis battled more mental health issues, suffering from insomnia and depression, resulting in suicidal ideation. He checked into an inpatient psychiatric ward for several days. Afterwards, Gattis roamed around the west coast, going from Colorado to New Mexico to California to Wyoming. … [Read more...] about Evan Gattis says he is ‘done playing’ baseball
DeSantis has so far refused to issue a statewide stay-at-home order, deferring that power to local governments. On Monday, he issued a “safer at home” order for four counties in South Florida, currently the hotspot of the outbreak in the state. Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Monroe counties were ordered to stay at home until at least April 15th. … [Read more...] about Florida’s DeSantis facing mounting pressure to issue statewide stay-at-home order to curb coronavirus cases
Now sober and happier than she’s ever been, with menthol cigarettes her main remaining vice, Paris moved out of her grandma Katherine’s house shortly after her 18th birthday, heading to the old Jackson family estate. She spends nearly every minute of each day with her boyfriend, Michael Snoddy, a 26-year-old drummer – he plays with the percussion ensemble Street Drum Corps – and Virginia native whose dyed mohawk, tattoos and perpetually sagging pants don’t obscure boy-band looks and a puppy-dog sweetness. “I never met anyone before who made me feel the way music makes me feel,” says Paris. When they met, he had an ill-considered, now-covered Confederate flag tattoo that raised understandable doubts among the Jacksons. “But the more I actually got to know him,” says Prince, “he’s a really cool guy.” … [Read more...] about Paris Jackson: Life After Neverland
Lets jump back to last week, shall we? Around the same time that Big Foot was getting put on ice and shipped around Northern Georgia, scientists in the small town of Deirks, Arkansas, discovered a new breed of flesh termite that doesn't seem to be from this world. There is no known documentation of this scary little creature, and they have since become known as the Gyno-bug. These parasites are similar to the very real Candiru parasite, a freshwater catfish with needle-like spines on its back. They soak into the gills of most aquatic animals and feast on them from the inside out. The Candiru have been known to swim into human orifices such as the vulva, anus, or even the penis through the urethra. Once inside a human, they cannot survive. But the protrusions on their spine will cause them to get lodged up inside your tender parts, and it takes a bit of surgery to get them out. This topic was explored to great comedic effect in a recent episode of [Adult Swim]'s Metalocalypse. Well, the … [Read more...] about BOOS! AND WHOOP-DOOS: The Unknown 2008! a Special Report!
What agitates this writer is: Could there be something sinister about this death warrant from the Orient which many see as another twist in Sino-American relations considering the hegemonic rivalry and mutual suspicion between the two countries? China, a little bird says, blames the lethal disease on US soldiers who were in Wuhan for military games officially known as the 7th CISM Military World Games which ‘BorJoh’ the British Prime Minister frowns on. … [Read more...] about COVID-19: Saving Nigerians from coronavirus
