Takeover talks between the club and Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan, a cousin of Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour, have been confirmed, with a figure of around £350m reported, reports Perspecs. Peter Beardsley has been charged by the Football Association with using abusive and racist language. Rolando Aarons has finally completed his move away from Newcastle United. The former Bristol City trainee has joined FC Slovan Liberec on loan for the next six months. The Czech are currently eighth in their top flight division and Aarons will be looking to put his career back on track. He looked destined to leave in the summer transfer window after not being handed a squad number by Rafa Benitez but a move wasn't agreed by the deadline. Aarons, who was released by Bristol City at 16, made 14 appearances for Hellas Verona in Italy last season and had hoped for a chance at Newcastle this term. However, he did not impress in pre-season enough to merit the opportunity and rather than spend the season in the Under-23s he has left on loan again. Last season Aarons stated he did not want to be in the reserve team.
