In 2017, Ethridge joined a task force at the nonprofit economic and cultural development organization Charlotte Center City Partners focused on finding solutions to the city’s affordable housing shortage. He focused on researching the preservation of NOAHs, looking at what cities like Minneapolis and Austin had done.
