HCM City (VNA) – The Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA) and the municipal Red Cross Society on February 27 held a workshop calling for blood donation amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. On this occasion, IT firms in the city presented 100,000 medical products, including face masks, soap and sanitisers, to local residents. According to HCA President Lam Nguyen Hai Long, the association will continue to mobilise medical products until the end of March to help locals prevent the virus. Over the past time, the municipal Red Cross Society has also delivered leaflets to raise public awareness of the disease, along with face masks, sanitisers and soap to people.
