Captain Megan Rapinoe was filmed drinking champagne and shouting 'I deserve this!' at the camera, while her team mate Alex Morgan appeared to ridicule the Lionesses with another show of her cruel 'tea-sipping' jibe. The US team was branded 'smug', 'cocky', and 'distasteful' after they pretended to sip cups of tea after knocking England out of the tournament at the semi-finals in Lyon. With the Premier League worth £7.6billion to the UK economy and grassroots football contributing a further £10billion, the women’s game is a potential employment powerhouse. Spanish giants FC Barcelona say they have paid €120 million to secure the signing of French striker Antoine Griezmann. The 28-year-old, a World Cup winner with France last summer, has signed a contract that will run until 2024, the Catalan club said. The buyout clause for the Frenchman, who rejected a move to FC Barcelona in 2018, has been set at €800 million. Griezmann had announced in May he would be leaving Atletico Madrid. "I would like to thank all of you for the love you have shown me during these five years," Griezmann said in a video released on the club's Twitter page. The French forward and Atletico finished as runners up in Champions League in 2016 and was the team's top-scoring player. He was one of three finalists for the Ballon d'Or in 2016. He was born in 1991 in Mâcon, France, but has spent his career in Spain. The National Women’s Soccer League team is loaded with talent, including fellow national team players Allie Long, Meghan Klingenberg, Emily Sonnett and Lindsey Horan, as well as France’s Amandine Henry and Canadian star Christine Sinclair. It’s almost like an All-Star team But Heath’s decision was based on more than just her club. She genuinely loves Portland. “I love it here.
