Tesla CEO Elon Musk did an about-face Friday night and told his followers that he and the car company’s investors believe it’s best if they abandon plans to remove the automaker from the stock exchange. “Most of Tesla’s existing shareholders believe we are better off as a public company,” Musk wrote in a late-night blog post on the Tesla website. SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — State government income is expected to outpace spending obligations by nearly $800 million for the coming fiscal year as New Mexico lawmakers contemplate bigger budgets for public schools, health care and anti-crime initiatives. Economists from three state agencies and the Legislature’s budget office delivered a twice-annual forecast of state revenues to a panel of lawmakers Monday. Revenues are on track to exceed the current annual general fund spending of $7 billion by 11% — a $797 million surplus. Paul Manafort's cellmate has exclusively told DailyMailTV that Trump's former campaign manager did not back down from confrontation with hardened criminals but got respect in prison because he didn't 'snitch' on the president. Bill Mersey, 69, spent three weeks as Manafort's cellmate last summer while he was temporarily held at Metropolitan Correctional Center in lower Manhattan. On Wednesday, Mersey shared the details of his one-on-one time with Jeffrey Epstein, 66, with DailyMail.com. Manafort, 70, was transferred from FCI Loretto, Pennsylvania, where he was serving seven and a half years for tax fraud and foreign lobbying stemming from special counsel Robert Mueller's Russian investigation. He was brought to New York in June to face state charges of residential mortgage fraud, conspiracy and falsifying business records, and the … [Read more...] about EXCLUSIVE: Paul Manafort’s prison cellmate tells how Trump’s ex campaign manager was a heavy snorer, didn’t blink when gang bangers got in his face and got respect for not ‘snitching’ on the president’
