Parents’ heartache after ‘happy and thriving’ three month old baby dies suddenly

December 12, 2019 by

Parents have described their heartache after their three-month-old baby was found unresponsive in her cot and died in hospital. Kasey-Leigh Enos was said to be well-nourished and happy and her development was normal, an inquest into her death heard. Her mum Charlene found her face-down and not breathing at the family home in Trent View, Knaith Hill, near Gainsborough. The baby's uncle Gary McSorley performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation under instruction from the ambulance control room, Lincolnshire Live reports. The inquest at Lincoln Coroners' Court heard that the tot's dad Phillip had given her a feed at 5.30am on May 16, 2018, before she was put in her cot on her back and went to sleep. Mr Enos then woke up at 8.30am and went to work. He said the baby was sleeping in her cot in the couple's bedroom. At about 10am however her mum saw Kasey-Leigh was laying on her front. Mrs Enos, who has recently had twins, said in evidence read to the inquest: "I immediately knew something was … [Read more...] about Parents’ heartache after ‘happy and thriving’ three month old baby dies suddenly

Family heartbroken after ‘life and soul of party’ died while making fiancé’s lunch

September 26, 2019 by

A woman died nine days before her 34th birthday while making a sandwich for her fiancé she was due to marry next year. Hannah Edwards suffered an epileptic fit like one she'd "never had" before. It caused her to fall and hit her head on the kitchen side and suffer severe bleeding on the brain. Making a sandwich for her partner Neil Powley and dropping it off for him at work, was a morning ritual. When she failed to make it into work herself, Neil was alerted and found her in the kitchen. Hannah died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, Norfolk, with so much left to do in life. She and Neil had hoped to adopt after getting married next year. Her family wants to to raise awareness of how bad epilepsy can be as Hannah's death in October 2018 came after a year of being seizure-free. Essex Live reports Hannah was born and raised in Canvey Island and diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 17. She had managed to control her condition with medication and had almost lasted a year … [Read more...] about Family heartbroken after ‘life and soul of party’ died while making fiancé’s lunch

May 25, 2019 by

This is the first photo of the tragic British climber who became the 10th person to die on Mount Everest this season. Robin Fisher, 44, lost his life yesterday in the so-called "death zone" on the way down - which is known for having low levels of oxygen. Kristyn Carriere, believed to be Robin's partner, wrote on Facebook : "He got his goal. My heart is broken. It was his ultimate challenge." His devastated family called Robin an "aspirational adventurer". In a statement, relatives said: "He achieved so much in his short life, climbing Mont Blanc, Aconcagua and Everest. "He was a 'tough guy', triathlete, and marathoner. A champion for vegetarianism, published author, and a cultured theatre-goer, lover of Shakespeare. "We are deeply saddened by his loss as he still had so many more adventures and dreams to fulfil. Search for missing Irish man Seamus Lawless on Mount Everest called off "Every one who ever met him in any capacity will always remember the positive impact he had on their … [Read more...] about First picture of Brit who died on Mount Everest during his ‘ultimate challenge’

December 10, 2019 by

Learning of the death of one of your childhood heroes is always a sad experience, and it seems 2018 was a year when we had to say goodbye to too many of them. No matter your area of interest, we all would have keenly felt the loss of someone from the celebrity world last year - from political big-hitters like George H.W. Bush and Paddy Ashdown; to sporting stars Cyrille Regis and Eric Bristow; and icons of stage and screen from Stan Lee to June Whitfield, all will be greatly missed. And the losses have continued into 2019, with the sad news that we have already lost such much-loved people such as WWE Hall of Famer "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Albert Finney, and England goalkeeping legend Gordon Banks. Here's a look at those we've lost in 2019, who have and will continue to inspire generations for years to come. DECEMBER David Bellamy TV presenter and naturalist David Bellamy passed away on December 11 at the age of 86. These Are Some of the Deadliest Tourist Spots on the Planet

December 12, 2019 by

We’ve composed a list of some of the world’s most dangerous tourist destinations, where thrill seekers risk it all for the perfect snapshot. Unlike many lists of places you should see before you die, this list is places to consider avoiding (or paying attention to the rules if you do go) if you want to stay alive. Eagles Nest Cave, Florida Maybe it’s the “Stop. Prevent Your Death!” “There’s Nothing in This Cave Worth Dying For” signs at the entrance of the this deadly body of water near Weeki Wachee, Florida. Or maybe it is the fact that it is often called the “Mt. Everest of underwater cave diving.” But countless experienced divers have gotten into serious trouble in this 300 foot cave, which is actually a massive sinkhole. Just 12 deaths have been recorded since 1982 which is because people smartly heed the warning and turn back. Mont Blanc, Italy and France Around 100 people die every year attempting to scale Mont … [Read more...] about These Are Some of the Deadliest Tourist Spots on the Planet
