Parents have described their heartache after their three-month-old baby was found unresponsive in her cot and died in hospital. Kasey-Leigh Enos was said to be well-nourished and happy and her development was normal, an inquest into her death heard. Her mum Charlene found her face-down and not breathing at the family home in Trent View, Knaith Hill, near Gainsborough. The baby's uncle Gary McSorley performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation under instruction from the ambulance control room, Lincolnshire Live reports. The inquest at Lincoln Coroners' Court heard that the tot's dad Phillip had given her a feed at 5.30am on May 16, 2018, before she was put in her cot on her back and went to sleep. Family heartbroken after ‘life and soul of party’ died while making fiancé’s lunch
A woman died nine days before her 34th birthday while making a sandwich for her fiancé she was due to marry next year. Hannah Edwards suffered an epileptic fit like one she'd "never had" before. It caused her to fall and hit her head on the kitchen side and suffer severe bleeding on the brain. Making a sandwich for her partner Neil Powley and dropping it off for him at work, was a morning ritual. When she failed to make it into work herself, Neil was alerted and found her in the kitchen. Hannah died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, Norfolk, with so much left to do in life. She and Neil had hoped to adopt after getting married next year. Her family wants to to raise awareness of how bad epilepsy can be as Hannah's death in October 2018 came after a year of being seizure-free. Essex Live reports Hannah was born and raised in Canvey Island and diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 17. She had managed to control her condition with medication and had almost lasted a year … [Read more...] about Family heartbroken after ‘life and soul of party’ died while making fiancé’s lunch
