“It [the internet] allows people who are spreading lies to actually seem like they’re legitimate. Trump without Twitter probably would not have become president, which is why Jack Dorsey is in the White House, having a meeting with Trump,” Cohen said during the interview with Hollywood star Don Cheadle. “He’s sitting across the president, who’s actually the biggest celebrity endorser of his corporation. And Jack Dorsey and Twitter cannot implement any restrictions against white supremacists or racists.” … [Read more...] about Sacha Baron Cohen Admits Aim of ‘Borat 2’ Was to ‘Deliver a Message’ on the ‘Dangers of Voting for Trump’

TikTok Responds After Trump Says He Will Ban App in U.S.
“We’ve heard your outpouring of support, and we want to say thank you. We’re not planning on going anywhere,” Pappas said in the video. “TikTok is a home for creators and artists to express themselves, their ideas and connect with people across different backgrounds, and we are so proud of all the various communities that call TikTok their home. In space, the long-term nature and risk of failure can make private investment by any but the largest firms unreachable. … [Read more...] about First 100 days: Invest in space infrastructure to spark economic recovery
Democrats’ Choice: End the Filibuster or Watch McConnell Win (Again)

It seemed like Republicans were going to have to compromise or become extinct, but it took living the reality of seeing Republicans obstruct for year for senators to come around to the idea. I don’t think there’s any question that more could have gotten done, but I still struggle to see how we could have gotten the votes to go for a full nuclear option back then. I think we almost have those votes now. … [Read more...] about Democrats’ Choice: End the Filibuster or Watch McConnell Win (Again)
