Arya Okten: Hi! This is Arya, and this is… Callie Zola: This is Callie! AO: …And we’re on post-, and we love The Bachelor! The finale, for all of you who didn’t know, aired this Monday and Tuesday—which, for us, was yesterday and the day before. And, in this season, the bachelor Colton, who is terrified and constantly heartbroken, finally chooses the one of the thirty women that he started with who is not interested in him (laughs). No, not really. Well, not completely. CZ: Is there anything to say about the beginning of the season? I don’t even remember it at this point…I know there was some good stuff happening…but it just escapes me. AO: I just feel as if, at the beginning, I was so naive and open-hearted. I was like, “Oh, I love Demi! I love the drama!” And then, when I was watching yesterday, I was just elated that I was about to finally be free from the prison that is watching The Bachelor. CZ: (laughs) I totally feel … [Read more...] about analysis: colton’s bachelor finale
Bachelor finale date
"To me Brittany is a mature, classic beauty and from the moment I met her, there was that instant connection." See? Gushing. And regarding Sophie: "She has a smile that could light a thousand hearts. She is just beautiful. She means the world to me." Again, gushing. At this point, you think everything is going to be hunky-dory and true love with one of these women is just around the corner for Cummins. Sadly, it all seems to go south from here. Brittany and Sophie are as good as in love with Cummins by this point, and have almost said as much in recent episodes. They're excited to be in New Calendonia for the finale, and they're excited to spend more time with Cummins' family, but the first person they mention is Brooke, who walked out on Cummins in Wednesday's episode. When he explains to them that Brooke has left, Cummins acts upbeat and positive about it – but you can absolutely detect the sting of rejection in his voice as he speaks. "I'm not going to let my selfishness get … [Read more...] about ‘Giant waste of time’: Nick Cummins stuns Australia in shocking Bachelor finale
BREAKING all the rules, The Bachelor’s Nick Cummins has turned his back on love — and Australia — by dumping both finalists on Thursday night’s finale, choosing to go home alone after wasting everyone’s time. He’s double dumped. That phrase already sounds unfortunate. But the narrative behind its use for this story is even more unforgivable.Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman are dumped next to a lap pool in New Caledonia after being led on for two months. Both breakups are excruciating to watch, but Britt’s is particularly painful. Mainly because she cops a three-part breakup. Nothing’s more agonising than a breakup that’s drawn out into a three-stage process. It was teased as the series finale that would shock Australia. The only thing that could make it even more dramatic is if Nick dumped both Brittany and Sophie and then flew stalker Cass over to reject her on TV again.“What a giant waste of time that was,” Brittany … [Read more...] about James Weir recaps The Bachelor finale
Grace Palmieri Arizona Republic Published 2:55 p.m. UTC Aug 7, 2018 Wait, Becca Kufrin knows she can go back and pick the other person, right? That’s a thing now. (Thanks, Arie.) For those who missed Monday night’s “most emotional season finale ever” of "The Bachelorette," Garrett Yrigoyen won. And honestly, there were a few red flags, which should’ve steered Becca away from him and toward the clear right choice: Blake Horstmann. Number one on that list would be when Garrett pulled this line during his final on-screen date with Becca: “People say you get butterflies, but butterflies are small — you give me eagles, in my chest.” Um, that sounds uncomfortable? Not to mention Garrett showed up on the first night in a mini-van — because nothing says romantic like kids. You might remember Garrett from headlines earlier this season when it came out that he "liked" questionable Instagram posts deemed racist, … [Read more...] about ‘The Bachelorette’ finale: Who did Becca choose? And why is a mini-van involved?
UnReal, the underrated Lifetime drama that hyperbolizes life on set at Everlasting, a Bachelor-type dating show, has moved to Hulu for its last season. You can start binging...now, because producers just surprise dropped that shit like it’s a Beyoncé album. According to IndieWire, UnReal is now being branded as a Hulu Original Series (which makes sense, considering you can stream the first three seasons of the show on the platform, exclusively). This fourth season is, in fact, the final season of the show, and it’s eight episodes long. In the season, Rachel (Shiri Appleby) and her mentor/BFF/boss Quinn (Constance Zimmer) return to Everlasting for an “all-stars” type show and I really hope they go all-out Bachelor in Paradise-style with it. Craig Erwich, the senior VP of content at Hulu, said in a statement, “UnReal has captivated audiences on Hulu since season one, so when this opportunity came to us, we knew we couldn’t miss out.” Happy … [Read more...] about The Fourth and Final Season of UnReal Is Available on Hulu at This Very Moment
