Apple introduced the rainbow-colored Pride Apple Watch face, as well as a corresponding watch band, at WWDC back in June. But in recent weeks, observers have speculated as to why the Pride Watch face is not available in Russia. One developer appears to have found the reason, right in Apple's own code. Developer Guilherme Rambo discovered this week that "the Apple Watch pride face is hardcoded to not show up if the paired iPhone is using the Russian locale," according to code extracted from the latest watchOS beta release. Rambo is the same developer who also discovered the leaked "iPhone XS" photos this week. AppleInsider details what they are. When Apple leaked an image of its forthcoming Apple Watch Series 4, most of the attention it got was focused on the hardware. Yet alongside its gold surround, its larger display area and possibly slimmer body, there is the face. This brand new Watch face is a combination of several old ones that Apple described as Activity, Utility and Chronograph. It's reminiscent of very high-end analog watches but looks better. Apple just sent out invites for one of the most awaited tech events globally - the 2018 iPhone launch - slated for September 12 at the company's Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. The "Gather Round" teaser issued with the invite does not reveal much about the hardware products expected at the event, however reports have now surfaced that give us an alleged first look at the two upcoming iPhone XS OLED models and the Apple Watch Series 4. Apart from these two products, the rumoured Retina Display MacBook Air might also make its way to the iPhone 2018 event. As per a report by 9to5Mac, we have our first look at what will be the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch variants of the upcoming iPhone XS. This glimpse at the two phones, stacked on top of each other, suggests that the two variants will borrow the iPhone X's design and get a new gold colour option, not seen with last year's model. Apple’s much-awaited annual event is set to take place on 12 September and the invites have already been sent out. Adding to the leaked images of both the new 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED iPhones is the Apple Watch series 4. 9to5Mac, which leaked the iPhone images, has now shared the first look at the Apple Watch Series 4, and the biggest change on the device is the edge-to-edge display and a thinner body.
