Lenovo Yoga 3 review

April 1, 2015 by

Introduced in 2012 and covering a number of iterations since, Lenovo’s newest addition to the Yoga lineup is the 14-inch Yoga 3. Following on the heels of its older brother, the Yoga 3 Pro, the Yoga 3 offers an affordable convertible experience in exchange for extra heft and a lackluster display. Buy it now from: Amazon The base model of the Yoga 3 comes with a 2.2GHz Intel Core i5-5200U processor, a 128GB solid-state drive, four gigs of RAM, and retails for $799. Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi review

March 23, 2015 by

Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi Score Details “The Asus T300 Chi hits the mark with a full size detachable keyboard and beautiful display.” Slim, sturdy, and light Excellent detachable keyboard Bright and vibrant display Affordable Limited ports Requires two hands to open Poor battery life Recent convertibles have taken a number of different approaches, from the unique Acer Aspire R13’s flipping display to the foldable Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, and each model has attempted its own take on size, power, and ergonomics. They’ve suffered shortcomings, though, from the R13’s poor display and the Yoga 3 Pro’s high price point. Asus’s thinks it has a better compromise in the Transformer Book Chi series, which consists of three super-thin convertible laptops. We got our hands on the largest and most powerful model, the T300, to see how it fares in our hands-on assessment. It starts at just $699, and … [Read more...] about Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi review

Asus U36Jc Review

Asus U36Jc Score Details “Competition among small laptops is more ferocious than ever, and it appears that the once excellent U-Series is now struggling to keep its head above water.” Sturdy, pleasurable keyboard Excellent connectivity Long battery life Poor touchpad Outdated hardware Overpriced Boring exterior styling Inadequate audio volume Fan is loud under load Asus has been on a roll lately. Everyone was surprised by the success of the recently released Eee Pad Transformer, which according to some figures is now the second best-selling tablet on the market. Critics have widely praised the subtly redesigned G74 gaming laptop. And according to Amazon, the company’s laptops and netbooks frequently make visits to their top 10 lists. July 2, 2015 by

Dell Inspiron 13 7000 SE 2-in-1 Score Details “The Inspiron 7000 13 SE achieves performance dominance and boasts a beautiful 1080p display, but it can’t solve the problems inherent to foldable 2-in-1s.” Sturdy design Excellent 1080p touchscreen Strong performance Outdated appearance Too heavy when used as a tablet Mediocre battery life Dell’s “Inspiron” brand, the company’s long standing entry-level line, has found itself inspiring feelings the company probably doesn’t desire. ‘Love, Death & Robots’ Review: Netflix’s ‘Heavy Metal’ For Post-Millennials

March 18, 2019 by

Remember Heavy Metal, the 1981 animated movie based on the French magazine Métal Hurlant? That feature-length hodgepodge of stories about stoner aliens, voluptuous androids, horny space travelers, dragon-riding heroines in dominatrix gear and other interstellar-overdriven pulp touches? “A step beyond science fiction” was the tagline; a 13-year-old boy peering at intricate drawings of rayguns and boobies with a flashlight under the sheets was the vibe. For a generation of geeks, this was solid gold. Fast forward to right now — past the years of Spike & Mike’s Twisted Animation festivals and MTV’s Liquid Television, the endless rewatchings of Akira and the rise of Adult Swim — and you can find outré toons a few keyboard clicks away. But perhaps you have a certain animation itch that needs to be scratched, and only a topless cyborg who can turn into a mecha-fox hellbent on vengeance will do the trick. Maybe Netflix knows this. Maybe they … [Read more...] about ‘Love, Death & Robots’ Review: Netflix’s ‘Heavy Metal’ For Post-Millennials

December 7, 2019 by

Salman Khan's popular reality show Bigg Boss 13 has been creating headlines this year for all the wrong reasons. From calling each other names to fighting and hurling abuses, viewers have seen it all. Now, Salman made yet another revelation on the show about Arhaan Khan, which left all the housemates, especially Rashami Desai shocked. According to a promo released by the channel, Salman can be seen all agitated during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode because of the contestants' behaviour inside the house. He lashes out at them for getting violent and aggressive during the tasks despite him and Bigg Boss issuing warnings multiple times. He then moves on to Arhaan and reprimands him for talking about the outside world inside the house. He asks him to talk about his family and asks Rashami to listen carefully.
