Cats are famously proud and vain animals so they will be glad to know they can now look even more pristine though Snapchat’s latest feature. The social media pic-swapping app now has filters which recognise cats’ faces, instead of just humans’. The three filters were launched yesterday, according to a post on Snapchat’s Twitter feed. The trio of lenses can detect feline faces so you can add glasses, flowers and the like to your pet. Cat owners wasted no time in uploading selfies with some extremely unenthusiastic looking felines. Sadly, there is no feature for dogs yet, although dogs are probably happy enough that millions of humans use the app to add puppy ears and noses to their own faces, presumably. You may need to download the latest version of Snapchat to use the feature.
