A Nottinghamshire man who raped and sexually assaulted a women in his home has been jailed for five years. Stephen Evans, 37, of Forest Road, Mansfield , attacked the woman despite her telling him no and asking him to stop. He denied the offences throughout a trial at Nottingham Crown Court, saying it was consensual, but a jury found him guilty of two counts of rape and one of sexual assault. He was jailed for five years during sentencing at court on Friday, October 12.
