MCCOOK, Neb. — Bo, from the McCook Humane Society, is NTV’s Pet of the Week. The shelter said he’s a 4-year-old, tri-colored border collie mix, who is a sweetheart. They said he’s at the shelter because his owner’s health really deteriorated and couldn’t care for him any longer. Contact or visit the McCook Humane Society to adopt Bo or other pets looking for a home. The Kearney Area Animal Shelter is also hoping you’ll consider a feline friend during Adopt A Senior Cat Month. They said Popeye, 7, is currently at the shelter. He’s a domestic short haired and neutered. “He is a laid back guy who enjoys lounging around and hanging out. He likes to watch birds and be petted,” they said. The shelter said Popeye would need a home with no other cats, but can be tested with a calmer dog.
