Liverpool and Roma supporters brawled in the middle of a street ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash. The two sets of fans came together just hours before kick-off and police were forced to step in and break things up. The incident happened outside of a pub where supporters were drinking before the game and security staff can be seen attempting to end the violence. It’s the latest incident to hit Liverpool on Champions League night after Manchester City’s bus was destroyed when Reds supporters threw bottles and flares as it arrived at the stadium. The Anfield club were charged by UEFA over that incident, with a hearing set to take place on May 31. Two police officers wee injured while the driver’s door of the team bus was smashed.
