Police have seized 38 cannabis plants with a street value up to £38,000 after searching an industrial unit in Mansfield Woodhouse. The plants, each with a potential worth of £1,000, were found growing in a specially adapted corner of the warehouse after Nottinghamshire Police received intelligence on Thursday, October, 11. Nottinghamshire Police’s Drug Support Team took just over an hour to completely dismantle the set-up, which included hydroponic lighting, electrical equipment and air filtration systems. A video from police shows the operation of dismantling the plants in the warehouse. The drugs will be incinerated. A Corvette sports car was also seized from outside the unit in connection with the investigation. A 51-year-old man has been reported for summons in connection with the investigation and police said enquiries are continuing.
