Boy band Ateez [KQ ENTERTAINMENT] Boy band Ateez topped Japan's Oricon chart with its third Japanese EP "The World EP. Paradigm" the day after its release, said KQ Entertainment on Thursday. "The World EP. Paradigm" dropped on Nov. 30 and immediately entered the Daily Album Ranking at No. 1. It saw CD sales three times higher than its first Japanese EP "Treasure EP. Map To Answer," released in 2020 for the band's Japanese debut. It topped Japanese CD store Tower Records' Daily Sales Chart as well. The new EP consists of six tracks, including "Paradigm," which members Hongjoong and Mingi wrote the lyrics for. "Paradigm" also entered Billboard's Hot Trending Songs Chart. The music video for "Paradigm," also released on YouTube on Nov. 30, ranked No. 3 on YouTube Trending Worldwide and trended in countries such as Chile, Indonesia, the United States and Canada. Ateez debuted in 2018 and has eight members: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho.
